Terms of use
Last updated: Draft — not yet in effect
These terms describe how you may use EventRibbon, a planner for wedding and event seating charts.
Using EventRibbon
- The planner is free to use. You don’t need an account.
- You’re responsible for the information you enter, including your guests’ names and details, and for having the right to use it.
- Please don’t misuse the service, for example by attempting to interfere with it or by sending automated or excessive requests.
Your data is kept in your browser
Your events, guest lists, seating plans, vendors and vendor documents are saved in your own browser, not on EventRibbon servers. They can be lost if you clear your browser’s data, and they aren’t available on other browsers or devices. Download a backup to keep a copy. EventRibbon can’t recover information that was only stored in your browser.
AI clean-up
The optional AI clean-up suggests names, groups and meals from text you paste. It can make mistakes, so review the results before importing them.
Event Pass
- An Event Pass is a $19 one-time purchase that removes the watermark from exports for one event. It is not a subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- The unlock is stored in your browser, for that event. Backups keep your seating plan but do not transfer the Event Pass.
Event Pass access and refunds
Because the unlock is stored in your browser, clearing your browser’s data, switching to another browser or device, or deleting the event can make it unavailable.
If you paid and lost access because of one of these limitations, email support@eventribbon.com with your receipt or payment details. EventRibbon will review the purchase and help where technically possible. Refunds are not automatic; each request is reviewed individually.
Printing
Check your exports before printing. EventRibbon isn’t responsible for printing costs or errors in printed materials.
